MMMMM Strawberries

I have always loved food, pictures and the internet, but never really put all three together. Since I am so anal at organizing my food recipes it only makes sense that I go one step further to once a week, put up the nummiest, bestestest, object that I have made in the past seven days! (that being said, my boyfriend is totally making me do this...)

To kick things off I am going to post something fun that I recently encountered here in Britain: strawberries are in season super long! And what can one do with these strawberries? Why turn them into a delicious British tart of course!

Here is a close up of the strawberries... because they are just SOOOOO good!

I promise to actually tell you how to make this within the week. Unfortunately, my boyfriend is actually the one typing this and all he knows is that his MB disappears for the afternoon and then good food appears! Yum!

  1. That looks amazing! The writing is so fluid... the prose just flow off the tongue. Hopefully you keep this up and post more of your great recipes!

  2. woooo! and I just saw that julia childs movie. mb's gonna be famous! and spread culinary joy throughout the lands! or at least make us cry out loud at her photos on our moniters. WHY DOESN'T MINE LOOK LIKE THAT? this is also totally the best way to ensure I visit you again and soon, by the way. so, if that is not a goal, I suggest you cease this project... but don't! go girl! (and don't tell your advisor?)
